City Research Council (DRD) wants the city as the capital to have Technopark. The purpose is for business actors can be better facilitated.

Jan Sopaheluwakan, Chairperson of Commission 4's Development and Environment Section said Technopark could be a place to bring together elements of government, academics and scientists, entrepreneurs and innovators.

He explained it also has the concept of conducting training, focus group discussion (FGD) and counseling by presenting those who are competent in their fields to jointly produce solutions.
"Government has the important role to realize the development of Technopark," he told.
He added the city's assets such as Pulo Gadung Small Industry Center (PIK) must also to be optimized. Additionally, the use of technology and innovation should be imposed to business progress, including pioneering business.
"People's living standard and economic growth in Jakarta must increase," he said.
